In 2022 I completed a traditional art portfolio preperation course with the aim of studying art in college. However, although I enjoyed the course it made me realize this is not what I would like to study in college. Throughout the two week course that took place in IADT, Dun Laoighre I created multiple art pieces. It taught me different way to explore through an artistic mindset. That is what led me to Creative Media. While the course still incoperates traditional art through a design module, it is heavily technology based also. Creative Media shows us as students that the industry is heavily technology driven. Therefor, it's crucial to know how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Adobe Creative cloud is an essential part of my creative media course, and crucial for any designer in todays modern world. However they can be daunting and hard to naviagate when first starting out. Here are some links that will be useful to help you get started!

During a module within my course called Communication, Design and Illustration our project was to focus a design study on a shoe. I chose new balances shoes. Using various methods of photoshop and illustrator designs we created multiple digital art creations based off the shoe we chose.
